Senior Nutrition Program

The Crest Forest Senior Citizens' Club (C.F.S.C.C.) started running the Senior Nutrition Program in 2007 at the request of the County Department of Adult and Aging Services. We are one of thirty seven (37) sites that currently run Nutrition Programs in San Bernardino County.

The program is partially funded through the Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS), and the C.F.S.C.C. is responsible for raising the remaining funds. We have secured grants in the past and continue to search for more. C.F.S.C.C. is a member of MOWAA to qualify and learn of their grants. We have been recipients of awards from various Rotary Clubs in the Mountain as well as Soroptomist.

All individuals, 60 years or older, are welcome to join us at Noon every Tuesday, the 2nd Thursday of the month, and the 4th Thursday of the month at the San Moritz Lodge. We ask the participants consider a 'suggested' donation of $3.00 for each meal. Not all coming to the lunch are able to give.
